July 13, 2008 at St. Thomas Cathedral, Sulthan Bathery
The commemoration of Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios was held on 13th July 2008 at St. Thomas Cathedral, Bathery. All the parishes of the Bathery Ecclesiastical District participated in the function. Padayatras, commemorating the late head of the Malankara Catholic Church, started from various centres of the district and came together at 11.00 a.m. at the Assumption Church Campus Bathery. The Padayatras then formed into one and moved to St. Thomas Cathedral. The special prayers were led by His Excellency Geevarghese Mar Divannasios which is followed by a speech in commemoration of our aboon by Rev. Fr. Eldho Karikombil. The programme came to an end with lunch. The General Convenors of the function were Rev. Fr. George Vettikattil and Prof. Johns Villoth.
